You have the possibility to learn more about this band on the interview
featured inside the pages of the zine. Their music is Nordic Black Metal,
as they say themselves, and I can`t agree more. It has this pagan feeling
overflowing the album. I believe it is a really good release and any Black
Metal fan will be satisfied with it. The CD consists of 8 songs, which are
“hymns”. We are allowed to use the word “hymns” as the songs are pretty long
and therefore they are developed fully giving an excellent result. As far as
quality is concerned we may say that it is a supreme underground release, as
the band presents a decent artwork and layout and the production of the album
is as good as it should be. Then, you shall wonder why I only gave them 8 out
of 10? Well, it`s the first release of HAGAL and I am sure they can do better
in the future. I find no reason why a Black Metal fan should not get this CD… (8/10)
